I got my perfect little Bella Bear over 5 years ago. At 3 months old, she looked exactly like a little black lab. I was told she was half Weimaraner and half black lab!
A Labrador/Weimaraner mix averages anywhere from 60-100 pounds and stands around 24 inches tall. As Bella got older she continued to grow taller, but stopped growing out. Weighing in at about 47 pounds, Bella is fully grown now!

You can say the curiosity got the best of me, because I ordered a DNA test. It was extremely easy to use! They mail you a couple of mouth swabs to send back in. A couple cheek cells and weeks later… and I finally knew what breeds my little princess is.
As expected she is a half Weimaraner! The other half of her is mixed and completely unexpected. The miniature pinscher is easy to see, while the Chow Chow not so much.
Knowing what breed she is doesn’t change anything, but it is cool to know! Now I’m sure there are many different brands you can use for this, but I used Wisdom Panel! I ordered it from Amazon.
